Marijuana Social Network, MassRoots, Reaches Over 215,000 Users; Partners with Cypress Hill’s B-Real on ‘The Smoker’s Club Tour’

People primarily use MassRoots to post about what type of cannabis they’re consuming, pictures of themselves smoking with friends and to connect with other marijuana consumers.

In order to expand the reach of its network, MassRoots has partnered with B-Real of Cypress Hill on his “Smoker’s Club Tour” this fall. As part of their partnership, B-Real has agreed to promote MassRoots on his social media accounts, feature MassRoots on B-Real’s “Smoke Box” and produce a promotional video for MassRoots.

“B-Real was one of the first celebrities to create a MassRoots account and has been actively posting for several months,” stated MassRoots CEO Isaac Dietrich. “We’re incredibly excited to officially partner with him as we continue to rapidly scale our network.”

Over the past several weeks, MassRoots has hosted the inaugural, “Marijuana Tech Startup Competition,” attended Forbes’ Under 30 Summit in Philadelphia and launched a new user-interface on its Android application.

Ahead of the November 4th elections, MassRoots also used its social influence to turnout voters in Alaska, Oregon, Florida and Washington D.C. This included sending out over 100,000 push notifications to its users, featuring election information on the MassRoots App, tweeting infographics to its 65,000 Twitter followers, and mobilizing its 131,000 Instagram followers.
